I  have served as active member of several committees, including the Faculty Council; Curriculum Committee; Rank and Promotion Committee; Budget Committee; Electronics Technology Advisory Committee; Nursing General Education Advisory Council; Project Upward Bound Committee; Dean of Instruction and Dean of Students Selection Committees; UIC/CCC Math Articulation Committee;  College NCA Steering Committee; Institutional Effectiveness Committee; Assessment Committee; Strategic Planning Committee; Engineering Science Advisory Council, and College Leadership Team. I modernized and supervised the Mathematics Laboratory (1987-1996), developed curricula (Technical Mathematics, Mathematics for Elementary Teachers Sequence I & II, and Honors Discrete Mathematics). I also served as the Chair of the Mathematics Department for fifteen years.
